Terms of service
Last updated: 24 August 2026
Agreement
These terms cover use of syliantech.com and, once we accept an engagement, consulting work by Sylian Tech (Buenos Aires, Argentina). A signed proposal, statement of work, or email acceptance of a written scope is the contract for that work. If those documents conflict with this page, the signed scope wins.
The site
The website describes how we work. It is not an offer to the public at a fixed price. Sending the contact form does not create a contract. We may decline work that is outside AWS, outside our capacity, or that we cannot staff honestly.
Services
Typical work is AWS migration, managed operations of named accounts, custom software in your repositories, and security reviews or scoped tests. Deliverables, dates, and environments are whatever the statement of work lists. We do not take work we cannot name in writing.
No implied SLA
This website does not create an uptime, response-time, or availability SLA. If an engagement needs on-call windows, severity definitions, or credits, they exist only when they are written into the contract. Marketing language on the site is not a service level.
Your AWS accounts and access
You keep the AWS organization, billing, and root. You grant us the access needed for the scope, and you revoke it when the work ends. You are responsible for the data you put in those accounts and for telling us which systems may not be changed.
Intellectual property
Code, infrastructure as code, and documentation we write for you in your repositories belong to you, unless the statement of work says otherwise. Tools, templates, and internal scripts we already had remain ours. We do not claim your pre-existing systems.
Confidentiality
We treat your architecture, credentials, and business information as confidential and use them only to deliver the engagement. You treat our proposals and pricing the same way. A separate NDA can be signed if you need one before discovery.
Fees and payment
Fees, currency, and schedule are in the proposal. Unpaid invoices can pause work. Unless the contract says otherwise, travel and third-party AWS costs stay on your bill.
Limitation of liability
Cloud work can fail even when the plan is followed. Our liability for an engagement is limited to the fees you paid us for that engagement in the previous three months, except where Argentine law does not allow a limit (for example, fraud or willful misconduct). We are not liable for lost profits, lost data that you did not back up as agreed, or third-party cloud outages.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Argentina. Courts of Buenos Aires have jurisdiction, unless a signed contract names another forum.
