AWS cloud migration for companies that cannot afford a six-month project

We move production workloads to Amazon Web Services with a dated cutover plan, replicated data, and a rollback path. The goal is a working system in AWS, not a slide deck about the cloud.

Who this is for

You have software that already makes money, running on servers you do not want to keep: a colo, an aging VMware cluster, or a single cloud account that grew without a design. Traffic is real. Downtime is expensive. You do not have a ten-person platform team waiting to “do the migration internally someday.”

  • On-prem or hosted VMs that you are tired of patching
  • A first AWS account that was created in a hurry and now scares you
  • A rewrite that keeps getting delayed because production is glued to old iron

What we actually do

Migration is mostly inventory and sequencing. We start by listing applications, data stores, identity, and the integrations nobody wrote down. Then we decide what lifts, what re-platforms, and what should stay put until a later phase.

On AWS we land you on a baseline that operations can live with: accounts, networking, backups, observability, and IAM that is not a shared root key in a spreadsheet. Cutover is scheduled, measured, and reversible.

How a typical engagement runs

Week one is discovery against the real estate, not a questionnaire. You get a written plan: target architecture, risks, freeze windows, and what we will not migrate yet. Build and rehearsal happen next. Cutover is a calendar event, not a surprise.

  • Discovery: what runs, what talks to what, what cannot fail
  • Landing zone: accounts, network, backup, and access
  • Rehearsal: restore tests and a timed dry run
  • Cutover: replicate, switch, watch, rollback if needed

What we will not promise

We will not promise zero downtime if your application cannot run active-active. We will not “finish migration” by leaving you with a pile of untagged resources and no backups. We will not take a multi-cloud RFP and pretend AWS-only work is the same thing.

Questions we get before a first call

How long does an AWS migration take?

A contained workload (one application, a few databases, known traffic) can move in days. A messy legacy estate takes longer because the work is discovery, not copying VMs. We give a dated plan after we see what you actually run.

Will production go down during the cutover?

The default plan is a staged cutover with replication and a rollback window. We do not treat “lift and pray” as a strategy. If a workload cannot tolerate a short freeze, we say so before we start.

Do you only migrate to AWS?

Yes. We design, migrate, and operate on Amazon Web Services. If you need a multi-cloud program, we will tell you we are not the right firm for that scope.
